Dependencies

  • Required: vorp_core and vorp_inventory

  • Optional Printer Integration: crowe_society, brew_society, syn_society, dl_society, or mega_companies

  • Optional Library Integration: Crowe Librarian for cataloging and lending printed copies

Installation

  1. Import inventory_items.sql to register empty_book and crowe_book.

  2. Place the complete crowe_books resource in your resources folder.

  3. Review config.lua for printer permissions, press location, copy limits, and the Modern or Retro interface style.

  4. Start vorp_core and vorp_inventory before adding ensure crowe_books to your server configuration.

Upgrading: Before upgrading, back up and preserve config.lua and web/assets/generated. The generated folder contains player-authored books; do not replace them with bundled examples. No new schema migration is required.
